One end of the base is provided with a straight rod, and a sliding block which can move up and down and fixed is arranged on the straight rod.
The slide block is connected with a black heat absorbing block, and at the center of alcohol lamp.
The front end is formed heat absorbing block claw three iron, copper and aluminum rod, the upper end of the support bar distribution has three shallow concave holes for dripping wax, to observe the situation of heat conduction.
In the experiment, the alcohol lamp placed into the alcohol lamp holder on the base, the wick alignment black absorbing block, then the small wax block were placed in the three heat conducting bar in small pits.
When the alcohol lamp is lighted, the heat absorbing block absorbs heat, and the heat is conducted to the heat conducting rod, and the wax block is melted.
Thermal Conductivity Apparatus is observed that the wax block of the heat conducting rod is melting fast, that is, the heat conduction performance of the rod is good.

Note :
1. can adjust the speed of heat absorption by adjusting the height of the heat absorption block.
2. although the whole operation, do not need to touch the fire and stick with hands, but still please pay attention to the use of fire safety, and do not touch the metal pieces with hands, so as to avoid injury.
